(Miss Selfridge jumper, Forever New jeans, Sempre Di Elly boots, Zara scarf, Coach bag, Prada sunglasses.)
Who can go past a cozy knit in the middle of winter when a raging tropical cyclone is sweeping the country (see: power cuts, snow storms and flying trampolines). I snapped up this one from The Iconic's winter sale to fuel the pink addiction, and also purchased these classic ankle boots while I was at it. I was in desperate need of a new pair for winter and these fit the bill perfectly, with the bonus of being super comfy despite the sizable heel height. Slap on some black skinnies and an extra pop of colour with this Coach bag (that I bought in Hawaii and really do not use enough) and that's pretty much me sorted for winter.
Luckily, I've been able to avoid the worst of the woeful weather in sunny Tauranga where I've been posted for work these last couple of months. While I've loved the warmer temperatures and sleepy beach city vibes, I am also very much looking forward to actually living in Wellington for more than 3 days at a time and having proper food in my fridge (have been surviving on take-out and toast over the weekends - which isn't half bad but Mum probably wouldn't be too impressed with the lack of veges).
