Inspired by the bustling city of Mumbai, the latest Winter collection from Amber Whitecliffe has arrived! Featuring a vibrant colour palette, new shapes and designs, and gorgeous luxury fabrics sourced from India, this collection injects some serious fun into your winter wardrobe. Amber challenges the black/white/monochrome style that we all seem to love with her signature colour ways and feminine designs, all lovingly crafted here in NZ.
I'm sharing three looks I put together featuring a few of my favourite pieces from the new collection, paired along side a few older AW goodies as well.
This first look features a silky soft t-shirt that feels absolutely amazing against the skin. Made from 100% silk, I seriously wish I had some pyjamas made from this material. The gorgeous dark turquoise colour is so perfect for the colder months, and looks fab against the otherwise black outfit. The skirt adds some fun contrasting textures, and is a classic AW style that Amber has made over a few seasons (see here & here & here). I added even more texture with this woolly coat that I am seriously lusting over; I love the loose shape and big pockets for putting all of the things in.
Matching sets are still a favourite of mine, and this one is seriously stunning! How amazing is that bright embroidery detail - definitely not for the faint hearted. I love the contrast with the thick black fabric on the jacket, which is actually super warm. I paired the set with this black mesh top that gives just a little peak of the colourful shorts underneath.
A sweet & fun look to finish things off, featuring a bit of sparkle and some pops of hot pink. This top is fully sequined (front and back!) with the cutest little leopard print, and would be perfect for a night out. I wore it over this bold & bright woollen skirt, and topped it all off with the same coat as the one in the first outfit, but in a light marl grey instead of black. This colour, along with a pretty berry pink, is an in-store exclusive, so be sure to stop by Amber's boutique to check them out in person!
