Celebrating the long waited prelude to summer via the season's most classic/cliche trend, made infamous by Miranda Priestly. But cliche or not, I can never resist a good floral number to get me in the mood for warmer days. I paired the darker print with these rad Jeffrey Campbell Tripoli dupes that I've been wanting since forever. I wish I could find (/afford) the real things but they are sold out everywhere since its quite an old style. These knock-offs have definitely fit the bill though; so stoked that I've finally got my hands on them. Both these items were bought over from the US by my lovely Auntie when she came to visit a few weeks ago (along with two other pairs of shoes, another dress, and a few crazy cheap drugstore items). The perks of having relatives overseas.. ♥
There's only a few more days left of mid-semester break before uni commences again on Monday, and the long list of assignments/study catch up that needs to be done before then isn't looking very appealing. That, coupled with the fact that I managed to catch a cold/lose my voice after coming back from a skiing trip, probably means I'm more likely to be watching my backlog of Youtube videos instead of lecture recordings. Here's hoping some motivation (+ the immune system) kicks in soon..!
The shoes look awesome! Who needs to splurge on Jeffrey Campbell anyway haha (although their products are amazing ugh). I love how you paired them with a more girly dress. Great outfit!
