I just couldn't resist adding yet another skater skirt to my collection when I saw this gorgeous pastel-floral piece that combines two of my favourite trends. I paired it with some gold chain details and a sheer white button down. I used to dislike gold jewellery, but it's really grown on me in the last few years (a sign that I'm growing up..?). Anything sheer and white is also on my wishlist these days with this trend popping up absolutely everywhere.

Hope everyone had a wonderful start to 2014 (in typical Helena style, I'm 14 days late with this 'new years' post, haha); I wish you all an amazing, crazy and beautiful year ahead! xx

    I love your outfit - florals and mesh are always so wonderful when paired together! So anyway, you live in NZ? I'm actually flying there in a couple months and I cannot wait! I was in OZ a couple months ago too, and my family who were with us then flew to NZ after while we flew back to the Philippines and they told us that the beauty of NZ is just amazing. I was REALLY in love with Australia and couldn't imagine anything prettier than that country, but now I'm excited to witness it all personally! Have a wonderful year ahead of you love x
