WISHFUL DRESSING

16 September 2013

(Dress, Glassons. Belt, ASOS. Glitter flats, Wild Pair. Bracelets, Byron Bay Markets. Ring, Lovisa.)

Wishful thinking can be a pretty powerful tool, and in my case, I applied it to my fashion choices for the day in the hopes that the weather would change for the better. This outfit would definitely be more suited for sunshine and warmer days, as opposed to the overcast and windy weather that was occurring when I wore it. Still, a girl can dream.. (Hurry up, Spring/Summer!)

I am loving white crochet right now and definitely need to acquire some more pieces for the coming season. This dress is actually the perfect bikini cover-up, but I wore it with a slip underneath to save my dignity. My bracelets are a little souvenir from my time at Byron Bay; the perfect accessory for that beachy vibe. And I adore my little bird ring that adds a perfect hint of sweetness to any outfit.

Getting back into the full swing of things now as University starts up again for the final 6 weeks (+ exams) of student life for 2013. Scary to think that I'll be halfway through my degree in 2 months, but also very excited to have the first two years done and dusted!

Happy Monday :) xx

  1. That dress takes such a lovely silhouette on you, especially with the cinched in waist. I love how you decided to wear matching accessories; the nude flats surprised me but they're a great choice! They really elongate the leg :)
Good luck on being back in uni! xo
