IGUANA LUNCH

Iguana is defnitely one of my favourite restaurants/bars in Hamilton; they have a great food and drink selection, as well as awesome weekly deals like Sweet Tooth Tuesdays ($6 desserts) and Thirsty Thursdays (2 for 1 cocktails). So when I saw a GrabOne deal for a lunch special there, I snapped it up straight away. Even though I spend the majority of the year studying in Auckland, I knew I'd be going back down to Hamilton at some point when I could use the voucher. 

This past weekend proved to be the perfect opportunity as Gregor & I headed back home for some R&R before the onslaught of the coming exam period. The deal was for two lunch mains and two glasses of bubbly, but neither of us really felt like having wine at 1pm on a Monday afternoon, so we opted for some refreshing glasses of apple and feijoa juice instead. We ordered the 'High & Iron' Pizza and the Pumpkin & Kumura Salad to share (check out the funky bread stick in the salad!). Needless to say, the meals were really yummy and filling. We ended up taking two pieces of pizza home because we couldn't finish it all; who doesn't love left over pizza ❤.

Back in Auckalnd now where I'll be in student study mode for the next few weeks until the end of my mid-year exams. I apologise in advance for the lack of outfit posts; I'll probably be living in pyjamas until they're over! xx
